Although the mandolin was one of the first doublestringed nstruments I came across, it was the bouzouki that first tempted me to make these angelic-voiced musical boxes.
Bouzoukis and citterns are related to the mandolin family (mandolin, mandola, mandocello) but are stringed and tuned slightly differently.
The complexity and at the same time the simplicity of these instruments' voice is heartrending.
